In Malaysia the main language and the national language is Bahasa Melayu, but the second most important language is English. Not because Britain once colonized Malaysia, but the awareness of the Malaysian people that the importance of English as the main language of the international world. Tak apa.. kita dah terbiasa bercakap Melayu mengikut dialek masing², apa yg terpenting adalah saling memahami. Sebenarnya seluruh rakyat warganegara Malaysia memang boleh pun bercakap Melayu, tapi banyak yg mengikut dialek masing²

3 years after this video dropped, I'm looking up "What you need to know about being a lawyer in Malaysia" and here I am. I'm in my first 2 weeks into being a conveyancing lawyer and thinking of quitting being a lawyer altogether. Getting paid 2k as a junior lawyer in Kelantan, got passed some files that are really messed up and delayed because no one picked them up after the last LA left (though they prided themselves with having senior staff who are on the same level as "lawyers"). It doesn't feel like "hard work pays off" for me personally. Always been a perfectionist, over-achiever. Got straight A's (it wasn't easy), chambered at one of the most toxic workplaces with a boss that yells over every little thing, doesn't admit her mistakes, makes you feel like you're useless and staff who talk down to lawyers, openly admitting to thinking they're better than lawyers. Anyways, back to the point where I don't think hard work pays off. I don't. Truly. I've been on clutch mode for as long as I can remember, always under constant pressure to be perfect at what I do. It came to the point where I don't enjoy it at all. At first, I thought I wouldn't mind doing coveyancing my whole life, but as it turns out, I'm starting to hate it. I'm not trying to discourage those who are considering dabbling into law but I echoe OP's sentiment. If you don't have the passion for it or if you're pressured into getting into law school because your family pressured you into it, good luck. You might actually like it or you might end up hating it.

For indonesian probably it's a bit weird if malaysian couldn't speak malaysian (Bahasa Melayu). Because in Indonesia, every indonesian learn with Bahasa Indonesia in the school and speak Bahasa Indonesia in daily life. But it's good if you want to try to comunicate in your country language (Bahasa Melayu) to others.
